My small team of experienced teachers and I take the time to get to know your child, understand how they learn best, and plan lessons they'll enjoy and make real progress in. A Level, GCSE, KS3 and Year 6.
For one student, it is the frustration of not being able to get a Grade 4 at GCSE. For another, it's knowing an A at A Level is possible but not being able to show it in tests. Or it could be a Year 6 student who has slowly fallen behind and lost their confidence. That's why no two lessons I teach are the same: each one is planned around the child and what they need.
I make sessions as positive and uplifting as I can, picking out the progress your child is already making and the skills they already have, and showing them what they can actually do.
Coaching, not lecturing. Every session is interactive, with your child writing live on screen. There's no me talking while they sit and listen. We work together, and I guide them along the way.
Assess, fill, repeat. There's no big assessment at the start. We begin with a few foundational topics, find the gaps and work on them properly before moving on. It's a continual process that keeps progress moving in a simple, stress-free way.
The feedback I hear most is that their motivation for maths comes back. They often start working harder at school too, and their confidence improves hugely. Knowing they have someone knowledgeable and encouraging in their corner means a lot.

Experts in the subject. Every tutor on my team is a qualified, experienced teacher, not just someone who is good at maths. I choose each one myself, and I only take on people I would be happy to have teaching my own child. They go through the same safeguarding checks a school would carry out before they teach anyone.
Interactive lessons. Your child will not sit and listen for long. Every lesson runs on a shared whiteboard, so they are actively involved and their tutor can see their working as they write it.
Genuinely lovely people. This is the one I would rather you saw for yourself. My tutors and I are warm, encouraging and easy to talk to, and for a lot of children that first lesson is the spark that brings their motivation back.

I can't stress how important it is that you choose a tutor your child gets on with and learns from.
